The following video is a series of clips showing me performing in various locations around the country. The styles in this clip range from Traditional Scottish Folk music to Pop and Rock music.

New-style Scottish Music (Audio)

I've decided to put up the following recording of a very experimental genre of music where I'm taking some traditional music and applying some modern touches to create a new style of music that perhaps hasn't been attempted before. The first of these recordings is a re-make of "Flower Of Scotland" and "Wild Mountain Thyme". I particularly like the way the latter turned out. For these recordings I have combined many recorded and digital instruments to create a modern recording of this old fold song.

Flower Of Scotland

Wild Mountain Thyme (Will ye go, Lassie go)

Scottish Folk Music - Live at the Parklands Centre, Alva (Video)

In December 2007, John performed for charity entertaining the elderly of his hometown. John's song choice on the night was a blend of Scottish traditional folk music that his audience would be able to relate to. Even with a faulty guitar, John put on a fine performance that was the talk of the town for a long time afterward.

The following video is an unedited showcase of John performing Scottish music at his very best.

Song list: Bonnie Dundee, Killiecrankie, Ae Fond Kiss, Wild Mountain Thyme, Nancy Whisky

Mentalism (Mind Magic) - Live at the Parklands Centre, Alva (Video)

I was asked to perform some magic as part of my set at my second gig at The Parklands Centre. This was my first ever gig performing a set of mental effects.

No camera tricks are used in this video - what you see is actually what happened. (Editing has been used only to remove unneccesary footage)
